SCC plc (formerly known as Specialist Computer Centres) is a UK-based multinational IT services and solutions provider, founded by Sir Peter Rigby in 1975. It is the technology division of Rigby Group plc. SCC sells Data Centre Modernisation, Workplace Productivity, Networks & Communication, Security, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), and Innovation solutions to public and private sector customers. The company has 65 offices in the UK, France, Spain, Romania and Vietnam.


Why did you choose Pipeline Upgrade? 

After trying various traditional lead generations agencies over the years with little success, paying for "day rates" and "call time". We were recommended Pipeline Upgrade by one of our core Vendor partners.
 
After reviewing their proposal, we were pleased to proceed with a pilot campaign, as they offered something which we hadn't seen before. A "pay per meeting" model with a "free meeting replacement" or a "refund" which made us comfortable making the initial investment.


The challenge?

The campaign was launched mid-COVID-19, as we needed to increase our sales pipeline and ultimately our sales to counteract the expected decline due to the pandemic.

Our brief was to target large Enterprise clients and FTSE organisations which are typically difficult to reach but give us a good return. 
 


What was your highest moments? 

We were delighted to see that Pipeline Upgrade´s team were able to hit the ground running and within the first week, we already had appointments to attend. All appointments sat so far have resulted in live opportunities to work on, which has really helped to demonstrate that we made the right decision in partnering with them for this requirement.
